How Solar Lights Work?

Solar lights convert sunlight into electricity through three key components:

  1. Solar Panel: Contains photovoltaic cells that absorb sunlight and generate direct current (DC) electricity.

  2. Rechargeable Battery: Stores the generated energy (usually lithium-ion or NiMH).

  3. LED Bulb: Uses the stored energy to produce light at night.

Process:

  • Daytime: Solar panel charges the battery.

  • Night: Built-in light sensor activates the LED using stored energy.
